It has been a tough road to recovery from our long list of recent activities.
There was so much excitement and energy in the air from Superbowl to Mardi Gras that catching some wind in our sails has been more of a challenge now.

After a nice long weekend of rest, we are ready to get moving forward again.

Next up – SPRING! Launching our New 2010 colors – which are SUPER HOT. We have gotten in some sample colors and they are bright, vibrant and as always flattering on most skin tones like they were made just for you!

We are working hard at finding a beautiful crop of models to show them off. Photo Shoots will be taking up our time and attention for the next month to come – which is always some of my favorite duties. More on that to come….but here’s a few last photos from Mardi Gras…for all to enjoy.

We had special Purple/Green/Gold bikinis made for the Mardi Gras Party – but here, you only see one version. I will keep a lookout for the other suits (the other girls wore) so you can get the full effect! My favorite were the shiny purple ones…not traditional for Mardi Gras colors – but definitely caught your eye.

You would never know from looking at it – but it was CHILLY outside. Guess that bikini is warmer than it looks.

You may recognize Brittany also from our website. She has modeled our “Shortie” bikinis recently. With a butt like that – we can’t help ourselves. We love her in the Shirred Skirt with Panty as well….but then again, we love all of our bikini styles!

These girls were all imported in from Tampa. We look forward to hosting any parties this Summer locally, and you can bet they will be in attendance!

We are headed off to New Orleans today. We’ve got our Mardi Gras bikinis in tow – some Saints bikinis (just in case we do an impromptu photo shoot (which is highly likely!!) T-shirts, beads and flyers.

Could this year be any crazier? We are about to find out!

SUPERBOWL WINNERS!!!!

I think my feet have FINALLY just begun to touch back down to the ground. That was by far one of the most incredible experiences I have ever had before. We had fantastic seats in the 2nd row, on the Saints bench side. Luckily most of the game was played right in front of us too!!!

Miami was a great as well. Had some fantastic meals, mingled on Ocean Drive with all the Who Dats and enjoyed the fairly warm weather! There were lots of girls wearing bikinis too!! I look forward to getting a chance to host a party in this city during the Spring and Summer months.

And what better way to start off Carnival season then with a Superbowl win! This will be by far the wildest Mardi Gras ever! We are lucky because TeenyB will be hosting a party on a balcony on Bourbon Street this weekend too. You know I will be updating with lots of photos. Don’t I do that every year?

We went and had lunch one day at his restaurant…It was fantastic! We were lucky enough to see him too. He had just finished a radio interview I guess in the other room.

They wasted no time getting the papers to all the Saints fans. Now that is what I call – HOT off the press.
It was still warm! In fact, it ended up smudging a bit later…. oh well – I suppose I will survive.

We hung around and second lined to the stadium from a nearby hotel. This is the crowd waiting for the band to arrive. No one parties like New Orleans – there is no doubt about it. I was sure to bring my umbrella too!!!

Saints are going to the SUPERBOWL!!! How exciting!

We were at the game in the dome. My throat is still a little sore from screaming my head off. What a game. Very tense. But we prevailed! The first time ever!

Needless to say, this has been such a special year for us – and it is only just starting!
This will definitely make for quite an exciting Mardi Gras.

Before we head off to party with the WhoDatNation, we had to do a quick shoot to wish our team good luck!

Kick some ass in Miami

Football season is officially over…now it’s Playoff Time!
I am sure it is no surprise that I am and have been a big football fan!

This weekends wild card games have been fun to watch, but are of really no major consequence to me since our team has a first round bye. We look forward to cheering on the New Orleans Saints next weekend and hopefully onto Miami.

Of course a huge motivation for us too, is if the Saints manage to make the Superbowl, it will give us yet another excuse to have a huge bikini party!!

We enjoyed our Superbowl Bikini Party so much last year (because Superbowl was in Tampa) that we are dying to throw another!

While on the topic of parties, TeenyB will be throwing one in New Orleans for Mard Gras. We’ve just finished creating some custom bikinis specifically for the occasion.

We do test shoots for many reasons.

First and foremost, we are always looking for models for our storefront and catalog shoots.
Many times, the models want the opportunity to meet us, to be able to wear our bikinis, and of course to take one home with them. Of course, many of the models that are local(ish) we love to invite them to our events and parties.

But, certainly there are a lot more pictures that we take that never get to make the storefront. We can only use SOO many photos of the same suit right? Wrong!

#1, we LOVE to put as many girls in our suits as possible, because everybody has different bodies. The more people we see in them, the better we can determine how they are fitting, if we need to make adjustments, or even create a new style!

Just today I fitting a model in a brand new cover-up skirt. It is not finished, but if I do say so myself, it is totally hot!!!

I digress… Just because not every model makes it on the TeenyB Storefront site, does not mean they aren’t special and deserving of a little love and attention.

It won’t be for long, just the rest of this month. We will be resuming our shooting schedule starting the 2nd week of November.

We have decided, since we are knee deep in our yard renovations (and I know we have some trips coming up…) we might as well get the pool resurfaced too! It seems like, once you do one thing – you look around the yard and realize you need to do another. It never ends.

But still in good spirits. Like mentioned before, we have a bunch of trips coming up in October anyway, including a NYC trip which I am always excited about!! Get to go to the fashion district and go shopping for fabrics, trims and anything else that looks like fun!!

Halloween is a really fun time in the Tampa area too! People love to dress up, go out and have a fun night. Normally we throw big parties for Halloween, but since we will be in NYC the week before, we have decided to just go out to a club. Not a normal club, a Russian club! They are always the most entertaining for big events like this!

Not positive I will be posting pictures from this event, even though I will have friends and model-friends coming…a girls’ gotta have a FEW things to herself right?

We have had a few questions about these parties we throw. Why do we do it and what exactly ARE they??

Well there are a few reasons…The first is, since we exclusively sell our bikinis online at
TeenyB.com we need a way to get our product seen and accessible for people who may be too scared of purchasing a bikini online, that they have never seen before.

We also like to meet new people and potential models as well.

The most recent party (of which I will post some pictures of in the coming days) was a special party for charity. We enjoy participating in local events like this (be it, charity parties to raise money, donating bikinis for Calendar Shoots, fashion shows, or even bikini contests!!)

We also throw our own themed parties, just to have some fun or celebrate a big event. (Last year, Superbowl was in Tampa…how could we pass up THAT opportunity?)

We create a batch of bikinis that are exclusive to the party. They will never be sold online, and are given away to all of the girls for FREE. We believe this is a win-win situation because the girls who already KNOW our product, are excited to attend the event to get a free bikini. Those who have never SEEN our product, have a nice introduction, can look at all of our styles, try them on, ask questions and get to meet us. They also get a free bikini to wear and take home with them (a gift of $200 and more!) We want them to look at feel good for the event, and also have a special bikini to wear for many seasons to come.

I have to say thank you to my wonderful staff for holding down the fort while my hubby and I took a trip. It was a little over 3 weeks, and much needed. I love to work, and especially love this company so finally getting a true break from work…geez I don’t think that has happened for a couple years now.

In the past we would take short trips to the Caymans, or New Orleans. After a few days of laying out and eating would always inspire me to get back to work with a renewed energy. But taking a more extended trip, like to Europe has been awhile. In fact, the last major trip we took, (France) was before I ever started this company. Gosh, time flies.

I am having a difficult time jumping into work again. It’s almost as if I do not know what I should be doing these days. I think I am still longing to be back in Italy a bit. Certainly a Country I intend to spend a lot more time in. Walking around the streets of Venice I could see a LOT of potential for a catalog shoot here. I am certain I wouldn’t get any disagreements from our production team.

Luckily there is a big party for us to plan for. This should help keep me focused. Somewhat.

So I have the chills from not feeling well so I turned the A/C down to be comfortable. Not realizing how reliant on A/C that I am.. I get an Instant Message from my girlfriend that has been keeping me updated with her Tour of Italy. I’ve seen beautiful pictures and architecture and smiles on their faces. But then she says, “We have to take breaks during the day b/c it’s so hot” So I figured they would go relax at their condo with some frozen grapes… hehe, but NO!!! NO A/C THERE EITHER!!!! Wow! She says it’s totally worth it! On a much smaller scale I know what she means…being the beach bum that I am. So speaking of fun in the sun I am heading to a beach party this sunday and am so excited to show off in my TeenyB bikini, I’m telling you there is no better feeling then knowing you are wearing the hottest bikini on the beach!! So I hope to get over this illness because it’s summer and I want to bask in the sun!

Summers here and most of us have shed those few extra pounds to look good in a bikini and have had the chance to get a great tan going but what can make all of that go to waste? A bad hair day! Well todays hair tip is how to keep your color from fading. So if you remenber these few key elements you and you hair color will shine brightly all year round.

Remember to always wait 24-48 hours without washing your hair before you go in for your hair appointment. The natural oils that build up in your hair allow for the color to have a better grip. Do not wash your hair for another 24-48 hours afterwards. Remember that using hot water, strips the hair of it’s color faster. Even warm water is better than hot water. Use a color protecting shampoo and conditioner, from a salon! It really makes a difference! Use a heat protector if you blow dry or flat iron your hair.
Also keep in mind that if you will be in the water a lot this summer, I would recommend wetting your hair before you get into the chlorine or salt water. And excess sun exposure can lighten your color as well. I know us beach beauties have a hard time staying out of the sun, so maybe you go a shade lighter then you normally go. A change is always nice no matter who it’s on!

I have been eagerly waiting for the completion of our TeenyB House yard.

Like all things in life, sometimes you just gotta wait. Luckily for us, once our landscaping project is finished, I can say with certainty that the wait will have been worth it.

We have lots of potential models who we would love to get in front of the camera, so they can show off their TeenyB bikini bodies, but haven’t had the chance to do it yet, because the yards not finished.

By this time next month, we should be booking our test shoots! I imagine two to three a week, would keep us quite busy, and meeting new fresh faces. And what better time than the heat of the Summer.

So if you have posted a model request form, don’t dismay. We have everyone saved and will be contacting you in the coming months to book a shoot. Just in time too, cause all of our models are invited to our parties, and our FIRST party at the TeenyB house will be 4th of July!!!

This Summer is going to be fun! Will you be a part of it?

Days are passing quickly and our next big Adventure is in the Cayman Islands.
We are going to capture some beautiful sights!

This photoshoot will definitely differ from those we’ve done in the past. Not only because of the breathtaking surroundings but also because of the scene that will be created around the gorgeous models we’ve chosen. Our determination and hard work will be well worth it! The excitement of our progress thus far will be expressed not only here through our blogs but also in the photos that are captured.

It has taken alot of planning and focus to get thus far, and upon our return will launch some more of our new spring colors.
Be on the look out for some new faces, and hopefully the introduction of our “Sirens!”
You’ll have to stay tuned for all of these updates!

Not sure how many of you attended the WMC (Winter Music Conference) in Miami this past weekend, but I hear it was a blast. I have a bunch of friends that went down (wished I could have joined them), so looking forward to seeing their pictures. I know they rocked the TeenyB Bikinis, and always love to hear their feedback on new styles and colors.

Everyone knows that Miami Beach is filled with tons of hot women in micro teeny weenie bikinis. WMC just ensures that there will be 10x that amount!!!
