It is always a day where I have to run a bunch of errands that the weather is just so crappy I barely want to step outside. Today is definitely that day.

I don’t mind being cooped up in a house once in a while. I being projects that I have been meaning to start, catch up on emails (and blogs!!) and generally waste a little bit of time. Which is something that I don’t really get a chance to do that often.

So how did I waste my afternoon???? Watching videos of course!!! But not you normal, Hollywood sucky videos…awesome TeenyB ones!

We have been really busy lately. And unfortunately I have not been doing a great job of keeping up with my blogging.

Well Summer is here. Whether or not it is OFFICIALLY Summer is one thing, but the weather is HOT and Muggy here in Florida which means time to swim, and hit the beach! (Like we haven’t been already!)

It makes me think, when do you start preparing for Summer?? When do you go out and buy your new bikinis?? Is it in February or March, to be extra prepared for the Season? Or do you wait until you have a nice golden tan so you look great when trying on the new suits???

I am not sure if there is a special time I tend purchase bikinis. I like to shop for them all year round. Which is perhaps why we at TeenyB like to ALWAYS add new bikinis throughout the Season…so be sure to look for new special prints available in July and August months…even two NEW BRAZILIAN BOTTOMS!!! Us girls always like to keep things new and fresh. The Summer and swimming months can be up to 4-6 months out of the year…I definitely like to freshen my wardrobe more often then that.

But I digress….

Doing a bit of reflection today. Had a fantastic photo shoot last week (a mix of video and stills.) It was long day, filled with potential and I felt very excited about the product we had created. It took me a few days to recover actually, which I wasn’t expecting. But it is a testament to our productivity for sure.

I am especially excited to see how the videos turn out. We were lucky to be able to get an opportunity to work with a really talented artist named Jonathan Pears. He does a mix of all kinds of video, mainly focusing on Extreme Sports and Wake Boarding, but it expands to many different arenas. In any case, more to come on that later.

I guess it is a good sign, to always have a desire to keep trying new styles. Feeling like your work is getting stale or too repetitious. As I was reviewing my photos from the past few months, I have noticed part of an edge that I always liked in my photography was missing. I was taking great photos no doubt – but they had less feeling to me overall.

Next week, I am going to mix it up. And for me the best way to bring freshness into a photo shoot – is to explore other artists.

When I feel like I am in a rut – the easiest answer for me is that I have not been learning enough lately. And that – with modern technology is an easy fix! So work for me this weekend will include reading, reviewing and critical thinking.

But first….a good workout!

You’d think that for someone who has a lot of really great and interesting things going on, it would be MORE than enough to post about on the blog.

After all, this blog is simply a way for me to communicate my progress with the company, whats going on in my life, etc….
Yet, as I sit here trying to encourage myself to write something, I am instead distracted by reading my old posts.

I like to work, but sometimes I can be a total procrastinator!!!

As I have mentioned many times before – I never was one to keep a diary. Hahaha.

In a nutshell, what is new with us:

Finishing up the last of our photo shoots (next two weeks) including a new video project I am super stoked about.

Not only is she a fun loving person, sweet, smart and beautiful, she also recently celebrated a birthday which we were lucky enough to attend! We have no doubt Lindsay will continue to get better with age, and wish her a great year to come.

Some of you may recognize Aspen. She has been popping up all over lately. Most recently I spotted her in the E! channel, doing a television program about Miami’s Hottest Jobs. I am always proud to see our models working hard and making it big, but I was very thrilled to see her on TV wearing one of our very own suits!! She was in one of our Triangle Bikini tops. While there was no mention of TeenyB on the program, we are just thrilled that Aspen loves her suits so much she wears them around town!! And why wouldn’t she, she looks phenominal in them.

Today is such an exciting day. We are very pleased to show you the newest addition to our HD video collection.

The model is Aspen. Aspen is a Siren* (Yes I will talk about this Siren Subject soon…but now is not the time!)
I cannot say enough sweet things about this girl. I am excited to see what her future will hold because I know she will go very far!

When we did a lot of this video shooting on the beach, we managed to snag a few ‘Behind the Scenes’ shots of Aspen too.
*Now keep in mind, it is not with the big camera, but I feel they really capture what makes Aspen so great! Her fun spirit and “Joie de Vivre,” so I am also including a few extra exclusive photos. I hope you enjoy!

This last shot is one of my favorites because it was totally taken on the spot with a little point and shoot camera.
It was so bright outside we really could not see that well, we just tried to time it. We got it in two takes I think.

As you know, I love to go fishing. Being on the water with the fresh air is the best. I especially love fishing in Louisiana because there are not a lot of people around. (Compared to my Florida experiences.)

Our fishing camp is in the marsh. It was our first time staying there since before Hurricane Katrina.
It was strange coming back, because while our camp was restored to working order, Thanks Billy!!! – Everything was also different. Our fishing spots we would always hit, no longer existed. Even canals we would take out to the beaches are completely gone. Needless to say, it will be a learning curve to get back to the level of fishing we were at, pre-Katrina.

But, you have to start somewhere. And our first official day back on the water – was a day, not about the fish (though we did manage to catch some….) rather, it was a Day of the Dolphins.

If you like to fish, then you already know that when dolphins are around, you will not have success catching fish. They scare them off. And while I LOVE to see dolphins in Florida, I HATE to see them in Louisiana. It seemed like they chased us around all day. For about 45 minutes, they were swimming with our boat as we were going. Must have been 10 or 12 of them, on either side, splashing and playing. It was pretty incredible. Quite a show. I have never seen anything like it before.

I have a great video of this which I will see about posting. Unfortunately, it is over a minute in length, and I worry my internet connection will not stay up long enough to load it. Needless to say, I WILL eventually put it up.

In the meantime, I will leave you with a few picture instead (from our last day of fishing).

Also caught a crab. Of course I let him go, but I had to take a photo first. He is so cute!!
