In 1946 a french desingner Louis Rec’ard designed the first two piece swimsuit. Two pieces of triangular shaped cloths and botttom then hired a nude dancer named Micheline Bernardini which wore in a fashion show in Paris.

It took fifteen years for the bikini to be accepted in the United States. In 1951 bikinis were banned from the Miss World Contest. In 1957, however, Brigitte Bardot’s bikini in And God Created Woman created a market for the swimwear in the US, and in 1960, Brian Hyland’s pop song “Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini” inspired a bikini-buying spree. Finally the bikini caught on, and by 1963, the movie Beach Party, starring Annette Funicello (emphatically not in a bikini, by mentor Walt Disney’s personal request) and Frankie Avalon, led a wave of films that made the bikini a pop-culture symbol.

There’s nothing like kicking back by the pool and cooling off after a nice long day at the beach! The sun really wears you out after being in it for several hours.

She always gets a lot of attention when we hang out at the beach together. It’s funny watching all the guys heads turn as we would walk by them.

After our day at the beach we headed back to the house and cooled off in the pool. Splish Splash!

 In the 1980’s the most expensive bathing suit was worth 12,000 which had scattering diamond and pearls which also a maillot structure. I wonder in the future the next expensive bikini will be a two piece?

Summer is by far my favorite season of the year! It’s a great time for everyone to take a break from their busy lives and enjoy the great outdoors!

I love getting out and going hiking, riding my bike or relaxing at the beach! I have to admit, the main reason I go to the beach is to see all the beautiful women walking around in their sexy bikinis! I’m a guy, I can’t help it!
