The model is Aspen. Aspen is a Siren* (Yes I will talk about this Siren Subject soon…but now is not the time!)
I cannot say enough sweet things about this girl. I am excited to see what her future will hold because I know she will go very far!

When we did a lot of this video shooting on the beach, we managed to snag a few ‘Behind the Scenes’ shots of Aspen too.

This last shot is one of my favorites because it was totally taken on the spot with a little point and shoot camera.
It was so bright outside we really could not see that well, we just tried to time it. We got it in two takes I think.

Valerie was a real treat to work with in Grand Cayman, and her pictures show her true beauty. But our favorite part about this stunning model is that, she has the brains to back it up. In between outfits, she would busy herself with brain teasers and word games! What is not to love about this double threat beauty!

Sitting in my condo, being lazy today.

The weather is typical Summer. Hot, or rainy. Or both.

I don’t know about you, but if I stay in my house too long, I start to feel lethargic. So I decided to keep myself busy and start editing some pics from Cayman. Ha, a big undertaking that I keep pushing to the side because I do not know where to begin. Pulled a few photos from a set taken on one of our first days.

The model is Rachel – she is such a cutie pie. Her personality is just as great as her look. Rachel also does make-up and was are artist during the weeklong shoot. No wonder she is always looking gorgeous. Hope you enjoy.

We are back in New Orleans. Have been doing a lot of traveling lately, and in a way I am homesick (mostly because my backyard to the TeenyB House is like practically finished, certainly it is in shooting condition) and I have not been home enough to enjoy it.

BUT, in the same breath – August, is freaking HOT. There is no way I want to be shooting any models outside at this point. So, instead we travel, and enjoy OTHER beauties in life.

This weekend has been great for me already (and it isn’t even Saturday night!)
Went to first Pre-Season Football Game for the NO Saints last night! Very exciting!!!! I love football. It’s my favorite sport to watch.

Another highlight of our trip to New Orleans occurred this afternoon.

Michael and I went to Hansen’s Snowball Bliz
This is an old time New Orleans favorite. (I only started enjoying it when I moved from California) but it has been around since 1939.

What makes this place so special? And why the heck and I writing about it in my blog??

They invented the perfect Ice Shaving Machine. They home make every one of their syrups, and they are phenomenal!
It is tough to have a favorite, but I think for me it is Lemonade. It is tart and refreshing.
(My second choice is Cream of Coffee (which I just tried for the first time today!!!) A perfect way to keep cool on a steamy muggy August afternoon.

Hansen’s is also family owned and operated despite having numerous offers to be bought out.

And my ultimate favorite – what you see on their cups – their motto:

“There are no shortcuts to quality!”

This is a testament to a great product and the love and belief in it!!!

Vogue as we all know is a world renowned brand. Looking at their ads, as Katie and I have agreed, is inspirational. In fact, I remembered her words today as I was at a loss for my own. In a new task of mine I will be describing our bikinis. Knowing and understanding how out of this world our bikinis are comes naturally to me. I live the same passion for TeenyB as Katie does but finding the right words to put into place can prove to be difficult. It’s like trying to describe your love for that special someone, although it’s easy to love them, we as the humans can struggle at focusing all of our feelings and thoughts to put them down on paper.

As Katie expresses her struggles you can only imagine that what I speak of today, is a very small portion of the big picture. It is only natural to have these feelings. All it takes is a step back to look, remember and focus on the dream. I found myself doing that today. Being out of the loop for two weeks now.. with computer problems has put me out of touch. I took some time to myself to stop and open up that favorite magazine of mine and read through some articles and ads and pin-pointed some really good ideas and inspirations I have put those inspirations into my writing today. So, to share my inspiration I thought I would share one of my favorite writings of the day. This description is about our Vegas Nights collection: (my personal favorites) I’ll post a picture so you see the style I am referring to as well.

Katie, also know that many are inspired by you as am I. You work so hard and I try my best to stand by your side in all that you do. I have learned so much from you in a short amount of time. I am confident that with our combined efforts we will be unstoppable and will overcome any obstacles that stand in our way!

Lately I have been struggling to put into words exactly what I want, what I am thinking and where I envision TeenyB to go in the coming months and years. We have had a productive and positive year, and that is something to be proud of. Yet there is still much to do. We have a lot of work sitting on our plates, and this is not a time to relax and slack off.

I firmly believe that (even with the economy the way it is, if not MORE so) we should be working harder than ever. Just because we are making progress does not mean, we are (or ever will be) close to the finish line.

Having a list of goals, both short term and long term is a good way to stay focused. It is not always easy to look at the big picture, and still work on the day to day tasks. I realize that right now, I am doing neither.

Times like these, I am looking for sources of inspiration, for guidance and for clarity. I think I may have found something…but I must do some research first.

One question I am trying to answer is:

We have had a few questions about these parties we throw. Why do we do it and what exactly ARE they??

Well there are a few reasons…The first is, since we exclusively sell our bikinis online at
TeenyB.com we need a way to get our product seen and accessible for people who may be too scared of purchasing a bikini online, that they have never seen before.

We also like to meet new people and potential models as well.

The most recent party (of which I will post some pictures of in the coming days) was a special party for charity. We enjoy participating in local events like this (be it, charity parties to raise money, donating bikinis for Calendar Shoots, fashion shows, or even bikini contests!!)

We also throw our own themed parties, just to have some fun or celebrate a big event. (Last year, Superbowl was in Tampa…how could we pass up THAT opportunity?)

We create a batch of bikinis that are exclusive to the party. They will never be sold online, and are given away to all of the girls for FREE. We believe this is a win-win situation because the girls who already KNOW our product, are excited to attend the event to get a free bikini. Those who have never SEEN our product, have a nice introduction, can look at all of our styles, try them on, ask questions and get to meet us. They also get a free bikini to wear and take home with them (a gift of $200 and more!) We want them to look at feel good for the event, and also have a special bikini to wear for many seasons to come.
